At my peak, early 20's thriving in the career I worked so hard for, then unexplained joint pains came and sidelined me. Went to specialist after specialist only to be told "your labs are normal" and "you've been discharged from the practice". There had to be a reason for my wrists to be degenerating at the age of 25... right? Why was no one else interested in finding out WHY this was happening to me? Would I be able to work? Would I be able to hold my future babies?

Fast forward 10 years, I came across functional medicine and the importance of finding the ROOT CAUSE. AH HA! This is what I have been trying to do. It wasn't until then that I realized that my joint pain, chronic fatigue, low energy, mood swings and ongoing weight gain were all uniquely interconnected. Finding the root that was driving all these things was the KEY to unlocking my journey back to peak health and performance.
